	I already have a domain - say http://www.mydomain.com - www.mydomain.com - with various pages I want the forum to appear under http://www.mydomain.com/forum - www.mydomain.com/forum I've added the forum folder to the httpdocs of mydomain and set permissions but I get a 404 when I access http://www.mydomain.com/forum - www.mydomain.com/forum What am I missing here?

	It's iis6 and I use ASPX on the site OK

	Classic ASP is different to ASP.NET ASPX. You need to make sure that Classic ASP is enabled in IIS for your website.
