Hello,
  I have searched the forum and have found that you can set permissions so that posts must be approved before they can be viewed.
 
My problem is that I can't seem to find where it is that you set it.
If someone would help I would really be gratful...

When setting permissions on forums for each of the Member Groups one of the permissions is to set 'Post Approival' for that group.

Once this is set anyone in the Group posting in a forum that this permission is set on will need to have their post approved by the forum admin or moderator before general users can see the post

Ok, I must be really slow, or dense.

I have gone to Group Admin, Clicked on Group Permissions Admin, Selected Newbie from the drop down Clicked Edit or Create User Group Permissions. Then clicked on Create New Forum Permissions for User Group. When the page for Newbie group permissions comes up Post Approval is not one of the options.

If I create a new Forum I don’t see that option either.

Am I going about this the wrong way?

What version are you using?

Post Approval is only available in version 8.

Ah Ha! I am using 7.97, if I download 8.0 will my license key work on it?

Yes your license key will work on version 8
