A few users want to be able to select their own Post Display Order.  Oldest or Newest First.

Before delving and making updates to do this, is this planned to be a user option?

This is already an option built in to Web Wiz Forums.

If you click on 'Message' at the top of the first post in the topic it will reverse the order the posts are shown in.

Unfortunately this is only temporary and not stored per user.

Is this possible to store in the user profile?

It is not an option that can be set in the users profile.

Having posts in reverse order is generally something that comes from the old threaded Bulletin Board days in the 1990's. Very few people wish to have posts in reverse order these days as they are familiar with the flat forums like Web Wiz Forums that have come in over the last 15 years.

You can set posts the post default in reverse order from the admin area if you wish but it would reverse the post order for everyone in your forum.
