Hi,
I'm currently looking into web wiz and their latest version but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a mod or a way I could allow for users of my forum to post as an alias in certain boards?

[background]Currently my users create multiple accounts to represent different characters for an in character interaction for roleplaying aspects on my forum.  I'd like to take this out and replace this practice with 1 account for each user, but link aliases to user accounts and if they are posting in an in game forum allow the post to take on the appearance of posting as one of their characters (which I would like to have control over adding / removing aliases to each account).[/Background]

I've seen this done on proboards but to a level way beyond what I want to accomplish - they used actual accounts which allowed the user to post as any one of their accounts while logged on as a single account - I just want to add a table of aliases linked to an account which can be selected when the user goes to post/reply a topic in specifc boards in the manner of something like:

[Post as: (INSERT DROP DOWN BOX OR RADIO LIST HERE)]
and when they post it will still show the user who posted the topic / reply but include some manner of representing they posted as their alias - preferably including a link similar to a miniprofile which would be able to hold information about the character itself (image, some stats, background, etc).

So any thoughts/suggestions/direction to where I might find a mod like that I could even use as a base would be great.

Wow, still no replies on this one - surely someone out there knows of a method I could try?  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Try posting in the mods and add-ons forum rather than the suggestion forum. This forum is for suggesting features you would like in upcoming releases rather than asking how to mod your forum.
