Hi,

i have noticed a wierd thing when posting in my WWF 7.9. Often an eronious " " (space) gets added in the middle of a line.

The same line doesnt fail in WWF 7.01

it winds up looking like this:
#########################################################
Sophos AntiVirus
netsh firewall set service fileandprint enable

for more information:
http://www.sophos.com/support/knowledgebase/article/1732.htm l
                                                                                                   ^
#########################################################
it should be:
#########################################################
Sophos AntiVirus
netsh firewall set service fileandprint enable

for more information:
http://www.sophos.com/support/knowledgebase/article/1732.htm l
                                                                                                   ^
#########################################################

Any Ideas???

I am pretty sure this topic hasnt been covered, but searching for errors with a " " is kinda hard!! so if it has, don't shout!

Thanks (and wicked software)

Matt

This is not an error but is intended to do this.

A space is put in at the 60th character in long strings so that long strings will word wrap to prevent long strings from wrecking the formatting of the page.

HTML links may display with the break but will still work when clicked on as the HTML part of the link is not altered on the displayed text.

Just to note with this problem, the function ONLY supports 1 byte characters.  If you have any languages that use 2 byte characters it will at time chop the letter in half (at the 60th byte), of course making it unreadable at that point.

Is there any way that i can enter text in a really long string without the 60th character space? (not html)

What i need to be able to do is post a registry string that people can copy and paste onto their systems. At the moment, when they copy and paste, they get the space character which stops it from working..

Thanks again for any advice you have!
