None of our users can check private messages. When you click on the message, browser does nothing. And returns an error page, I guess it times out. Anyone else have this problem?

Without knowing what the error message is it's hard telling what is wrong.

Please follow the instructions for the support forums so that you post the correct information and not waste peoples time:-

Well we are sorry if we are wasting peopls time, but it doesnt give us an error message, we jsut feel its an error, because it happens with all users.  The forum works fine, it lets you know when you have a private message, even pulls up private message inbox, but oens you are in the inbox, and you click on the actual message, nothing happens, it acts like the browser is working, or opening the page, but nothing happens, and it times out every time. Im explaing the problem the best way that I can, Im not a programmer and have no idea whats going on in technical terms.

Ok I jsut logged into our forum, sent my self a test Private message, once you are on the pm_inbox.asp page, you can click on any link, it times out. It just sits on the one page for a long period. please try and see what i am talking about. http://www.tightworkextra.com/forum/ - www.tightworkextra.com/forum/

Try re-uploading the files for pm messages, maybe they have gotten corrupt.

I tried to look at your site but it was running so slow after 2 minutes of waiting I just gave up.

And just to mention it's not to technical as you say (you don't need to be a programmer) to mention the version of the forum you downloaded and installed, which does help determine the problem.

I'm afraid you are on your own then as there is no-way of telling what the problem is. It looks like for some reason that page is not compatible with the server you are using or some setting or server error is preventing the page from loading.
