My access DB file is starting to grow, and i'm looking for a way to increase the file's size.

Is it possible to remove messages and/or topics from the forum, and the total number of messages won't increase?

You can bulk delete topics from the admin menu. The numebr of posts in the forum will decrease as this is calculated on the fly by totalling the number in the forum.

Once you delete topics and/or posts from the database you will need to run a compact and repair on the database using the tool in the admin area, otherwise the size of the access file will stay the same.
