Search the forum on how to protect your database, or read the faq to this matter.

Sounds like someone is messing with the forgotten password feature.

Make sure you are running the latest version which requires a username and the email address used to register in order for a new password request email to be sent. This will make it a little harder.

This sounds like a problem that has happened to me in the past. If someone has got into your database or got a list of members names and addresses they can do this. May be best removing the link for the lost password and replacing it with contact admin. Check to see if you have moved or renamed your data base for better security.

Hope this helps

Thanks boRg and BoLt

I'm assuming the problems is like BoLt suggest, someone is going to the login screen and requesting new passwords. So I have remove this feature.

boRg I though I upgrade everything to 7.7 and haven't done the 7.7a upgrade. Looking through the history file, I don't see anything about username and the email address, So I'm assuming I must have missed this upgrade somewhere.  Will work on upgrade to 7.7a.
