This is a login or a cookie problem not sure.

1)If i log into this forum then go to a post that has a link to another forum page withen this forum

2) This link opens a new page/window

3) Once the new page is opened I will not be logged in with the window.

This happens with Mozilla Firebird. Not sure about IE

All links are opened in a new window. The forum does not know that it is referencing another post. If the link is to http://yourdomain.com - http://yourdomain.com and you logged in at http://www.yourdomain.com - www.yourdomain.com it may be that the cookie has not been set to yourdomain.com or you may even have multiple tld's like this site (.info, .com...)
