Can anyone post a list of recommended advertisers that I can put their banners on my site for free? I would prefer it would be someone with experience who actualy made money out of it and could prove the company(s) reliable.

Theres only one worth having:

Google adsense ( http://www.google.com/adsense - http://www.google.com/adsense )

I have earnt nearly $300 from them, average of $3 a day, and it's money in the bank, real money, (I've spent it!)

Adsens is the best. Make enough from them to pay for my hosting. Depending upon your content and type of visitor, having an amazon  book list integrated within your site can bring in a few bucks. They have a really slick web service interface.

I make about $25.00 per day from google, they are the best. You could also charge for banner space on your site, I also make money from this on my network

Usually they send an email that lists the probable causes. My scan of your home page would indicate that they probably don't know how to categorize it. No meta tags. no content on the home page that's not embedded in java script to indicate what the topic of the site is.

What keywords do you want people to enter into a search engine to locate your site. What keywords would someone have to enter to get there.

When they approve your site, you are allowed to use the banner on any of your other sites without approval.  How about making another tiny stupid site about breeds of dogs.

Thank you for your continued interest in Google AdSense.

We apologize for not being able to approve the first website that you submitted. However, we are pleased to let you know that you have now been approved to participate in AdSense, and your account has been activated for www.*****.

Please note that we constantly monitor all of the web pages displaying AdWords ads. Placing the ad code on pages that violate our program policies may not return ads. Furthermore, if we find that one of your web pages violates our policies, we will notify you and ask you to remove the AdSense ad code from that page. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

That's just great

As far as placing it on additional sites? Read the policies carefully and as long as you are within guidelines and rules you should be okay to place on additional sites.

If you get approved for a site about tiny stupid little dogs, isn't that the topic addwords will server to wherever you put them?
