Every time I add a topic in my forum it adds 3/10 of a sec to the refresh time of the page I know it seems small but those seconds add up any suggestions. Thanks, Eddie

Normally slow posting times is due to a slow mail server.

If email notification is enabled emails will need to be sent, if your SMTP server you are using is slow to connect to the submission of the post will stop while the emails are sent.

Slow servers, or SQL servers that are at some distance to the web server can also course delays. You never mentioned versions you where using!

kts always best to be runing the latest Version because of security and bug fixes and also features.
