I am redoing a charity site that I run. I have NO BUDGET at all for this project. I wish to put a news project on the homepage. However as I have no budget I cannot afford to remove the Powered by WWG links. Although I could leave it the organisers would not like it.  I was wondering if any one else KNOWS of a good news script. I could search hotscripts but I am looking for a script that also supports a user account with less privileges.

If the organizers are that cheap that they want something done for free and not even want to show credits to the people who put in hours of work, then I'd say screw them.
