KC said it... "good  free" is an oxymoron

Define good.

Best one I have found, 1asphost.com or domaindlx.com (same server, but different names)

Tell me if you have found any other.

You get what you pay for and free = not much.

You can get decent asp hosting though for a monthly cost of about a Big Mac, Fries and a Coke ($5).

Toss in the price of a Happy Meal, and you get MS SQL as well.

The difference between free and low cost monthly hosting is worth having to eat a couple of Peanutbutter and Jelly sandwiches for lunch each month.

Hear! Hear! Seconded (or trebled) on the free does not mix with good.

There are a few very good cheap hosts out there. Depends on what you need - but at the low bandwidth end you can spend $7 a month and get GREAT services.

Isn't it funny when someone comes to WWG, registers an account, makes one post with a question in it, and then never comes back to see all the answers and conversation surrounding their question?

he/she does probably not have the email notification turned on and have forgot to check back..

that's something I like with WWF, it sends out emails of all posts instead of one randomly selected post like IPB and vBulletin

Also not free.
Not good form to recommend other hosts on a site that offers it's own hosting.

There are many sites that evaluate hosting providers. If you're searching for a host, you could start at start at http://www.webhostingtalk.com - http://www.webhostingtalk.com
