I understand that in order to remove "Powered by Web Wiz Forums" link, I need to purchase the license key but what about web wiz logo located at top left corner? Do I need to purchase a license key to do so? If I don't have to purchase a license key to remove web wiz logo at top left corner, how do I remove it? Thanks.

No you don't need a license key to remove the logo in the top left corner, this is only there as a demonstration.

To change it, login into your admin area and under the forum configuration page there is a text box you can use to put in the path to your own sites logo.

'Nother question.

BTW - WWForums Rock!!! you folks are awesome!  I use this forum on 2 web sites I created, and it's loved by all!  Thank you!

Why is it on one site http://www.subcontrabassist.com/forum1/default.asp - SubContraBassist Forum the upper left hand graphic works, and on the other http://www.strange-band.com/forum1/default.asp - StrangeLand Forum it won't.

The code is the same - I can cut the logo out of the box, paste it in IE and the logo pops up - but won't show in the forum.  The WebWizForum graphic doesn't show either.  Am I missing something?

btw - I'm now using SQL version - Access crashed too much.....

Thanks!

I think there was a bug in the version you are using when updating forum settings.

Upgrade to the latest version.

There is also security issues with the version you have running, please see:-

Did the update - still won't fix the problem.

Is there something else I need to do?  This is pretty frustrating - since it works on the other site......

thanks!

All I get is forbidden access returned by your server.

You could also check in the database directly in the tblConfiguration tabel that the link is being updated in the database.

One thing that might have coursed it, could have been when you moved from Access to MS SQL Server, the admin part may not have been updated correctly and could have been still looking at the old access database, so was updating the wrong database.

Glad you got it sorted anyway.
