I know you are still heavily working on version 8 and that may already be on your plate but I think if you have moderated forums, it would be good if you could setup unmoderated users, that are not moderators. Users, that have been with you for a long time should be allowed to post and it being visible to all, thus they cannot 'show' topics.

I've already written it to be able to do that, the new moderator functions are set as forum permissions.

This made it simpler to implement and will allow the feature to be more flexible setting it by genric permissons for all or by groups and/or individuals.
