Can I include a file using the Physical Path?

I tried this but it didn't work out:
<!--#include file="C:\hshome\zMaestro\egy\inc.asp"-->

I used \ and / both didn't work

I can't put it on Drive D

The error says that the file is not found... and this is a strange error

your path looks exactly like the paths Jodohost uses.. except for they use the D drive and not the C drive.. so if you are hosting with jodo, try D

you can also place Response.Write Server.MapPath("\") in a script on your site and you will get the full physical path on the screen..

I'm quite sure you get this error because IIS can't find the file where you have said it is..

that's because both of the servers are using HSphere control Panel.

can you give it a try and check including using this way (Full Physical Path), I am sure the file exists.

oh, so that's a common HSphere path, ok..

I thought this was possible, but maybe it's not.. it didn't work with me either..

but isn't is possible to use relative paths?

Server.MapPath("../../xx/yy/myfile.asp")
