Has anyone used Rack Space hosting for dedicated site hosting?  I haven't seen their name listed here yet so I thought I would ask.

thx

Budget is important but I am looking for an enterprise type of solution with load balancing, co-location and all kinds of other good stuff.  I'm trying to find out what the dedicated hosting market would charge for this type of work.

my enterprise hosting solution is a 3 NLB IBM eServers sitting right next to me where i can manage them myself. That way, if it breaks, i can fix it myself and get it done instead of waiting for a request to process.

P.s. eservers (depending on model) are not that expensive. sure they can get upwads of 10 grand if you want a really nice one. it's getting a MCSE to support them that is the problem.

I can do hosting for you... i'm running off of my comcast cable internet connection with one old dell server running win2k3 so i wouldn't be able to promise that it'd be up all the time . i did look into a T3 line... they were like 1,200 bucks a month

If your after a budget dedicated box and know how to manage a server i would reccommend http://www.servermatrix.com/servers.html - ServerMatrix  , Ive currently got two machines with them and havent had any issues at all.
