I did a search for this topic and didn't find it, even though I think I remember reading it somewhere in the past.

How do I delete a single member's account?  It seems this should be a function in the "Membership Admin" page somewhere.  Shouldn't need to use tricks in the "Batch Delete Members" area.

Member accounts can be deleted by editing their profile if you are logged in as the admin. A checkbox is available at the bottom of the profile to delete that member.

The main admin and the guest account can not be deleted as these are required for the forum to run.

DOH! Okay, I missed that part, obviously.  I don't suppose in a future release there could be a delete option add to the member administration list.  Something to reduce the number of steps to delete a single account?  I know, it's a petty little thing but it would be more convenient.

Dleteing accounts courses problems, such as any posts the user may have made have to be set to the Guest account which means you do not know who posted them. This is why this option is obvious.

You are much better suspending a users account so that it can no longer be used, this way they can not re-register using that name and any posts they have made remain intact with the correct posters name.

Yeah, I can see you point on that in general. It does make a mess, but occassionally i have a person who runs into a problem with an account for one reason or another and would really like to try again with their old information (users can get attached to their login stuff and user names... I guess [shrug]). It's difficult to explain more than tha. Thanks for the follow up.
