Has anyone out there tried using version 7.8 of the forums after having converted the Access 2000 database to 2002 or 2003? Did any of the forum features "break"?

I'm asking in case someone already has tested this to save me time in doing so.

The REASON I would like to use Access 2002 instead of 2000 is becasue 2002 and 2003 use a newer version of Jet on my server with much better performance and reliability.

Thanks!

I just did some research and sure enough you are right. Access 2000 and up use Jet 4.

In that case there is something else to tell you all... on my 2003 Server, I've encountered a bug with any web application that uses an MS Access database as back-end and gets a moderate number of hits. The site (and any other sites in same application pool) will go down. I have four Web Wiz Forums running on this server and all were going down. All other ASP/Access apps were going down, too, except for the ones having barely any visits per day.

I talked to a MS Support guy and he said there is a hotfix not published on their site because it is going into SP1 for 2003 Server. Here is the email he sent me after I talked on the phone with him (I'm going to create a new topic for this because it is important):
