Subject: Can’t write a book!!

I have Windows 2000 Professional installed on my PC and there is an odd bit of crisis brewing around! While writing in the phonetic Compose box of Hindi (or other non-English Indian languages) one finds Java Applets aiding the process on certain Indian sites. They can not be saved to have any kind of offline use later. However, the history or Temporary Internet Folder does provide a chance to open up the same box for an unlimited duration at Rediff.com. The problem with my PC is that it has begun to show offline the "Done with errors" sign recently and doesn’t allow to type in Hindi anymore (reads something like “the object doesn’t allow this method”). Is there something wrong with the Internet options? I am a novice  in programming and have experimented enough on my own. Kindly help, since, I need to initiate writing a book immediately that would be impossible to achieve without the offline access of the above mentioned page (phonetic Compose box with Java Applets)!

I got Hindi set in there (language settings), still nothing happens. I suspect, they (rediff.com) have capped any possibility of an offline use. So, I have decided to give up !

Great news ! I got it done  finally! Perhaps, it had to do with some sort of conflict that got removed once, I closed down the Java Plug-in control panel (Sun Microsystems) from the control pannel. The page is now available offline with applet help. I still know nothing exactly about all  this. Has it to do with the catch of the Java Plug-in that has a different path compared to the Temporary Internet Folders? Besides, how am I able to work with the Java applets now? Does Windows have something else for the same purpose? Whatever be the reason, it was funny to get off with the Java loot !
