I'm testing a new security mechanism that seems to fail on some directories when I test it with Mozilla 1.7.2

I need a couple of mozilla users to try to access a couple of directories and tell me what happens to ensure that it's not something with my Mozilla installation.

As this may be a security issue, I don't want to post direct links. If you can help me, please PM me and I'll forward the details to you.

If you are using windows login to login to parts of your site I often find that Mozilla will store those details so you don't need to login again when you return.

I put a windows authentication piece in place (pops up the windows dialog box). The box pops for one directory, but not for the other - but only in Mozilla.
Firefox 0.91, IE 6, and Opera 7.5 get the windows pop-up on both directories.
Mozilla 1.7.2 passes me directly to the page on one of the directories but on the other directory, I get the pop-up.

Don't know if it happens on any other Mozilla distros.

Well IIS will not send the document unless the client has been authenticated (presuming all files are in a directory with anonymous access off and windows authentication on). Maybe you entered the credentials in Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla is reading from that (somewhere in the registry or built in password manager).
