A member in my http://scienceparadise.com/forum - forum no longer wants to be there, and asked me to delete the account. If I delete the account, will all of the user's posts be deleted as well? If so, it would mess up the forums, as the user posted about 500 times. Please Help. |

It won't delete all there posts but it will show all there posts as being posted by 'Guest'

Just out of curiosity... if someone comes in later and signs up with that user name are the original posts still flagged as guest? -------------

yes they would still come up as guest as the identifier for the post is
the Author_ID not the username. so the new user with the same name
would have a new Author_ID. resulting in New Post Author_ID |
