Hello everyone. I have a question that I need urgent help with...

I believe that there maybe a keylogger program on my computer that is sending emails to email addresses on the yahoo network. I have looked through the processes running, There really is no foreign program running except for (oddly) two versions of explorer.exe.

I have searched everywhere for the explorer.exe program that I believe may be sending these mysterios emails. What also is worth commenting on is this program or whatever it is, opens msmsgr.exe and sends emails to mailto:rsmoneyman89@yahoo.ca - rsmoneyman89@yahoo.ca . The only way I detected this was through symanatec email proxy, which gave the error that the recieving account was over quota.

Every time I start the computer there is two explorers running. There is no run command for this program when the computer starts up and I really dont have any ideas where or what this program is? Even when i'm not on the internet this program is requesting access to the internet.

Any Help?

You might want to check out http://www.computercops.us - www.computercops.us

Also, block port 25 and 2525 outbound and if you're running iis on your machine, stop the smtp service.

Try running spybot s & d or adaware as they detect some keyloggers. Also try trendmicro housecall online virus scanner incase it is a virus!

huwnet is right - I'd add that you should rum more than one of the spyware/keylogger checkers. None of them catch everything and one usuallt catches things the others miss.

Don't let it go though - take immediate action - your cc info could be being posted on some web site right now!
