If you mean like an HTML link from your home page then all you do is create an HTML link as usual with the path going to the location of your forum.

If you are unsure what this maybe then when you open the main page of your forum just copy and paste the address from your browsers URL bar.

For example on this site the forum is in a folder called wwf_forum so from my homepage I would create a link as follows:-

<a href="http://www.webwiz.net/wwf_forum">My Forum</a>

Would look like:-

http://www.webwiz.net/wwf_forum - My Forum

First off, thank you. Second, i cant even get to my forums! It says there is an error. I know the location of my index.asp so i type in my site's url, then i add the location of my index.asp. It was working yesterday but now i cant even access it.

The main page of the forum is default.asp (not index.asp)

If you find you are getting an error please follow the forum rules and turn off friednly HTTP error messages this will then give you an accurate error message that you can use to findout what the problem is. Most errors are already covered in the documentation that comes with the forum so check there first before posting your error message.

Please also mention what version you are using MS SQL or Access.

If you are using a free hosting service make sure you are using the Lite version of web wiz forums available from the forum download page.

You might also check that your forum directory is set to recognize default.asp over index.asp (or any other page name).

this would only be a problem if you are trying to access the forum by this method:
http://www.yoursite.com/forum

If you use the absolute URL as -boRg- suggests, then this isn't applicable.
