Hi, I'm new here and have been getting this error message in my ASP script.

If you want to take a look at my website ( http://www.zeboliver.com - http://www.zeboliver.com ) it's on the contact me section.  Anyone know why this is and how I can rectify it?  I've heard that it's because something isn't installed and its something to do with IIS but why should I have to have IIS installed for a web page to work?  Can't quite figure that one out!

Please post in the correct forum!! Not in a support forum for the applications from this site!!

The error means that the component you are trying to use to send the email is not installed on the web server.

you need a server to run serverside scripts, or the complete source will be sent to the user (try to open an ASP script directly in your browser). IIS is the most commonly used for ASP Scripts and Apache for PHP scripts..

I wasn't able to access your site, so I can't help you

Your site headers indicate your web server is Apache. You need windows hosting and the MS IIS web server to run ASP scripts - the language WWF is written in.

Apache soesn't know what to do with .asp files, so it just displays the, code as text.

It's quite common to fake IIS headers to improve security, so it may be an IIS Server even though the headers say Apache

The website runs fine when its online it's just that I've been running a bit late with my internet bill so I've unfortunately lost my web space for a bit.  I've got other ASP scripts running on the site and those all run fine.  It's just sending mail there it doesn't work!
