I need help with cutting the white frame out of this image. I have tried doing this in Fireworks, but I have been unsuccessful. Can someone please give me quick help with this image? Please let me know how you can cut the white frame out of this image.

Create a new image with a transparent background, now paste the image into the transparent image and use the magic wand tool to select the black bits. press delete, save as a gif and your done

I tried doing what you told me to do. It didn't work. I certainly don't want to delete the black background. I put the magic wand on the white lines. I tried deleting them. But this would not work. Am I missing something?

You just want the top white border/frame gone? Is that it?

MadDog,

Thank you so much for the fresh image! I am just curious. How did you make this image look so much better? Didn't you use Photoshop? When I tried fixing it in Fireworks, the image looked worse.

I just recreated it from scratch using Photoshop.
