Hi, wondering if any one can help.

When i use the following IF statement the server compiles it ok, but ignores OR make <> "any".

IF make <> "" OR make <> "any" THEN
sql = sql & "(make='" & make & "')"
END IF

thanks in advance for any help.

If NOT(make = "" or make ="any") THEN
.....

I only want to add to the select statement if make isnt = "" or any.
