Here's the problem:

Create a new forum with no topics in it.

Create a new topic.  Post some replies in it.  works great

Now in that same forum, hit the new topic link (which takes you to /forum/post_message_form.asp?FID=2 or whatever) and you get the new topic form.

When you hit enter the following occurs:

You get directed to the first topic you created (actually the only topic allowed due to the bug) and your post shows up as a reply to that topic instead of a new topic.

The new topic header is inserted into the proper forum, but when you click on the new topic you get this error:

"There are no posts in the database relating to this topic"

I have no idea what's going on here. I've been trying to trace it back but I keep reaching dead ends.  Any ideas?  This is a live site that is basically useless because of this problem.  So I'm looking for help asap.

The WebWiz software I'm using actually came from the purchase of aspinvision.

Thanks!

Dan

It could be a corrupted file so try reuploading ffiles again.

Otherwise, as this is part of AspInvision, they have made a number of modifications to the forum so I would be unable to determine the exact problem as they have modified the code and use a mix and match of different versions of the forum.

You will need to contact AspInvision about this problem. I believe they run a support forum for paying customers.
