jmail.SMTPMail error '8000ffff'

The message was undeliverable. All servers failed to receive the message

/forum/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 226

the outgoing mail server is ok so the compnent

please give more details when posting nex time,
what application/database version are you using.

and make sure you have jmail installed on the server. i hjad that error message once when it wasn't installed on the server.

According to the JMail site the error means that the SMTP server can not be connected to.

Make sure the SMTP server is entered correctly and is running.
