I got a few, how do I open them?  Read I have to burn them onto a CD, isn't there another way because I have no blank CD's spare...  Any free software links appreciated.

You can open them with Nero and burn it to a CD, there is a program called ISOExtracter which can extract ISO files like a zip file

Although not free, you can use Alcohol 120% or similar programs to actually mount the ISO just like it were a CD-Rom.

Do a google search for daemon tools. It is a free cd emulator.

I've always used WinRAR... and haven't bothered with any cd rom emulators

Actually I like UltraISO for manipulating ISO's such as adding files, etc.

Emulators are nice for testing CD's as opposed to burning some test CDRW's etc. Part of my business is creating training cd's for various things as well some some software installation packaging.

Another application that can open ISO, BIN, and LCD files is ALZip.

You can find it at http://www.altools.net - http://www.altools.net . Version 5.5 adds in opening CD images. You can't create them though. It's also free, which is a bonus.

P.S. I'll let you know when 6.0 comes out .
