hi again all, little problem.

Ive got a site where the bottom of the page shows the number of seconds it has taken to load, i.e 0.1234 seconds.

Because its hosted on a german server i have set the LCID thing to the correct location - so my number shows as 0,1234 seconds.  How can i set this to be a "." without having to change the setting for the rest of the page/site???

Cheers

Dim myvar as double
myvar = 0.1234    'Now this is the example for what it looks now
Dim newvar as String
newvar = Replace(myvar,".",",")

It's an easy fix but it works. So you want my paypal id via PM?

If you've got cash you can go into your local post office and send a postal order, I think michael would be happy with that lol

Reminds me of the joke about the woman who called a plumber because her sink wouldn't drain. The plumber come in, looks at the pipes, and hits a pipe with a hammer. The woman's sink starts to drain, and the plumber gives her a bill for $100.

The woman exclaims "$100 for hitting a pipe! That's ridiculous! I want an itemized bill!"

The plumber gives her a bill which reads...
Hitting pipe with hammer.......... $1
Knowing where to hit the pipe... $99

good one about the plumbing

Regarding the original email, i feel that the email may have been tampered with and as such i cannot take that as evidence of my original submission.

Kindest regards
