hello =)

I'm currently trying to create a CD for presentation purposes and for virus update installs. Anywho, I have made an HTML page that links to the exe file that will install the software. I'm trying to bypass the "Open/Run" dialog box and just save it and run it automatically.

Now I know this is possible becuase Hijack-ware is doing it all the time.

If anyone has the code that does this, or could point me in the right direction, i'd really appreciate it!

TIA!

There is no proper way of doing it and letting the user know. It will also probably not work with XPSP2

Create an ActiveX Control that the user gets prompted one time to install, if he trust you he will, and then you can use that activeX control to install what you want.
