Hi

I have this interesting problem with email notifications.  The url text to click to view the post in the email body is correct, but the actual href comes up like this forum_postsasp?TID= (there's no . in there).  I'm totally at a loss, because the unsubscribe link and href are fine.  Can anyone please help ASAP?  See below link that was copy and pasted from the email body for what I'm talking about.

Please, any help is much appreciated--Thanks

I'm guessing that you are using CDONTS as there is a bug in this email component that for some reason will drop characters at around the 72nd character.

Try using CDOSYS instead.

Yep, I'm using CDONTS, I will try your suggestion and change to CDOSYS.  Does CDOSYS work well with Win 2000 Server and IIS 5?  I've never used it, will I need to do any tweaking besides specifying an actual outgoing mailserver?

Thanks boRg

you should only have to specify a outgoing mail server.. CDONTS is the only one that doesn't require a mail server to be stated.

Switching to CDOSYS seemed to work just fine.

Thanks you guys!
