You start with the "readme" file :)

lol - some people aren't familiar with zip files.

The forum is in a zip file. You havve to create a work folder and use a zip program to unzip all the files and folders that are compresssed in the zip file to the work folder. The zip program will have an option to create folders from the zip file in your work directory - be sure to check the option.

Once the forum and subfolders are in the work directory, you can go to the documentation folder and read all about it.

There are several free/shareware zip programs out there - WinRAR and WinZip being two of them. Windows xp has an option that allows you to mount zip files just as if they were regular folders, but I forget where the option is located.

It is actually very very very very easy.

But, before you start, try it out on your local machine. Play with it for a bit, then upload it to your production machine.

Basic steps:

1) Unzip to local folder
2) Create SQL database
3) If using access, rename MDB as in the readme - look for the providers in the file listed in the readme
4) Run local application folder
5) Change password

If you read the readme, and look into where you need to set the provider (database), and follow those basic steps, you should be fine.

If you have a specific problem, then post back. All of your questions are already answered in the readme and the docs.

Also, if you can tell us what kind of background you have, and what you know, then we can give you better instructions for where you are at. e.g. total beginner (ground zero and need specific code to cut and paste), beginner, intermediate, etc...

It is very easy. Takes about 5 min to download and get running. But it took me longer than that the first couple times Embarrassed
