folks, is it not possible to do a response.redirect AFTER a response.flush?

Buffer is set to true.

Confused why i get silly errors - never used buffering before

I think you may want to do a server.execute. Possibly a server.transfer

Server.execute runs out, executes a script/page, then comes back into the same memory space.

Server.transfer passess control to the new script/page in a new memory space and doesn't return.

erm, im lost.  EmbarrassedClap

i want to run a page through, with the head html tags and that lot.  Top of page i have buffer=true.

Half way down the page i will run response.flush

Then near the bottom, i will run response.redirect "page.asp" if a certain variable is met.

How does the server thing work???

Thanks again for quick reply
