Whenever I go to create a new topic, I get the below error

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e2f'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again.

/forum/post_message.asp, line 609

- any ideas why I should be worrying about duplicate entries?  It doesn't happen when I reply to a topic

What version are you using?

Are you using an upgrade from a previous version?

Update on this (which I forgot to mention).  The topic itself is show in the list of Topics in the forum, but when it's clicked on, you get this message:

Topic: There are no posts in the database relating to this topic

vdub -

As far as I can tell - yeah I did.  Right now it's just a default WWF with old Database information filled in.  I checked the database configurations and everything is correct.

The error suggest problems with the database and the upgrade has not worked sucessfully.

If your database has become corrupted some of the upgrade programs will not work, try a compact and repair on both old and new databases before and after the upgrade.

Maybe even check the server permissions of the database directory.

nah - server permissions are all correct.  That's normally a completely different set of errors.  This is specifically with the database itself.  I'll try boRg's suggestion when I get the time.
