Hi,
I use dgFileUpload for file uploading on my site.  A .dll is installed on the server in order to activate dgFileUpload.  Do you think I will be able to modify the script in Web Wiz Forums to utilize dgFileUpload in lieu of ASPSimpleUpload or one of the other recommended file upload applications?

It should be easily possible to just replace the methods of one of the existing with yours and adapt them to make it work.

I'm stumped.  I've modified admin/upload_configure.asp and functions/functions_upload.asp to add dgFileUpload.  However, the Upload_component field in tblConfiguration won't allow the value of dgFileUpload to be entered.  The field is using a database default in collation but I can't figure out where to make the necessary modifications to allow dgFileUpload to be added.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

This is the error that I'm receiving when I attempt to upload the changes through the upload_configure.asp file in the admin section.

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server (0x80040E21)

Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB

status value, if available. No work was done.

Hi,
I solved the problem.  *sheepish grin* I increased the length of the Upload_component field to 30.
