Sounds good.

I think the last time I went on holiday was about 2 or 3 years ago now Unhappy

I seem to be working 7 days a week these days as this site takes up so much time.

Even when I go out these days I seem to be working either doing the lighting and/or sound rig or DJ'ing.

Although I did have a good night last Saturday working on the following:-

http://www.fishseeksbicycle.com/ - http://www.fishseeksbicycle.com/

Here are some of the other things I have worked on resently that I have listed on my sound and lighting web site, although I haven't updated it for a few months:-

You maybe insterested in some of them as I know you have your own band Gullanian

It's a shame you work so much, I hope you get yourself a good Christmas!

At uni I got into a new band, we will be practising next term for the first time, but when we get big and mega famous and rich and all that, I will sure hire all your gear and services!  If it's anything as good as WWG then without a doubt I know it's probably the best around.

My brothers band seem to be doing rather extrodinarially well recently, I will definatly mention you if he ever needs lighting and stuff.

What sort of music does your brothers band do?

I ask as I am working with a number of events organisers and we hope to do a number of events and mini festivals next summer so are looking for bands to play at some of them.

Also if you know of any venues, especially outdoor ones for next summer  around London, the South and South East, or down Devon and Cornwall, that we could do events in then please let me know.

Could do with a couple of farmers who could hire us a couple of out-the-way feilds for the weekend Wink

My brothers band recently came 8th in the XFM young bands competition, and they have had recent interest from a record company who talent spotted them.

They play a whole lot of music, you can download some of their songs from www.downbeats.co.uk (click on media), they also have a lot of gig experience.

If you need a demo CD, send me a PM and I will get one posted to you.

I'm not sure about venues round here, but I know people that do, I will ask around for you, what size ones are you after?

My brother went to St Pauls Carnival (IIRC), did you organise it? I don't think he DJ'ed there, he was in the crowd

No I didn't organise St. Paul's Carnival, I was just involved with one of the rigs there.

There where probably around 50 rigs in all of various sizes at this years carnival, much like Nottinghill Carnival, but on a smaller scale.

I must go to Notting Hill one day, never been.  Next year I'm definatly going to Reading, went to V this year was good fun, (Muse were amazing) and might try go to Glastonbury next year!

I don't like Festivals like Reading and V, they are to commercial, but the thing I hate most, as well as the Mean Fiddler security are complete b**stards, is that the camping area and performance area are separate and they don't let you take your own food or drink into the performance area, making you buy their own at inflated prices.

There are much better festivals out there like Glastonbury, Shambala, Green Gathering, etc. that don't have the separated areas, better security, and the best thing that saves you loads of money is that you can take your own food and drink across the whole site.
