Hello,

Please I need urgent help about this problem:

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 8007000e'

Server.CreateObject Failed

Ran out of memory

I have a Windows 2000 Server running IIS 5.0. All patches, sps and hotfixes are installed.

The server is a eCommerce (Site Server 3 Commerce Edition) Web Server conected to a SQL Server 2000 computer. The load is relatively HIGH and the error above just starts to happen after a day or two when the memory used by the server reaches 1.2 ou 1.4 GigaBytes.

I have about 50 ecommerce sites installed and running in isolated mode. The maximum memory reached for each site is 40 MB Normal plus 40 MB Virtual. (I read about the 2 Gigabytes problem in microsoft site, but dont think this is the problem because the server uses only 1.2 or 1.4 total memory)

I've already tryied this:

- Increase and decrease the number of ASP files cached
- Increase and decrease the number of script cached
- reapply sp1 for Internet Explorer 6
- Re-rewrote code to destroy all objects created in the ASP pages and close all conections.

restarting IIS solves the problem for a day or two, then it starts again.

I have read just about everything I could in google and microsoft.

The only thing I havent done yet is try to install some debug program for IIS to check out for memory leaks.

Thank you for your help!

Mauricio

I've seen that error posted here before. You may want to do a search here for 8007000e and also at aspfaq.com

But looking at what you;ve done so far, I have a feeling that you're out of luck. If you do find an answer, could you post it here?
