I am a student and just found about this new technology called Location
Based Services and want to develop applications (GPS), for cell phones, using this technology.
Can anyone help me locating the resources on internet so that I can
start my work from the begining.

| LBS is to do with the position of (usually) portable devices I think, if I'm correct GPS is an example of commonly used LBS technology, where the users portable device is triangulated to give a fairly accurate location. |
