Ok, I was makign a quick site for a few friends...they have a counter-strike clan and a really ugly site. I decided to whip a quick site up for them using frontpage (lol). It looked pretty plain, so I added a few colors...but it still looks a bit weired. I was tinking of having green and grey as maincolors for the themes. Here is the url:

do you have any suggestions for the colors? Thx.

- I don't like the blue mouseover for the nav links. it contrasts too much from the green, why don't you use another green or a gray?

- I would stay away from Times New Roman for the font as there are many other fonts out there that look better and are easier to read.

- on the navigation links you might want to change the mouse cursor with CSS onMouseOver "cursor: hand" so that people know it's a link.

Why not try a paler green to contrast the darker one - instead of the grey - or instead of some of the grey (maybe on the logo section) as it looks a wee bit dark. Start with #99cc99 as a base and use a colour picker to choose a paler tone that would contrast well with the darker green.

Also - I would use verdana or arial instead of the font you've use and make it smaller.

Good luck..
