I am getting a error to a database, I am new at database go go easy on me LOL. Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005' Index or primary key cannot contain a Null value. I have this link that explains this can be down to the sever permissions, this link explains http://rtfm.atrax.co.uk/infinitemonkeys/articles/asp/921a.asp - http://rtfm.atrax.co.uk/infinitemonkeys/articles/asp/921a.as pfor permissions and access incase the data base is locked? This seams to have fixed it’s self once or twice without re-coding so this seams to be a sever side problem. its exactly as it says. your primary key has not got a value, and it is required to have one. make sure that the primary key alwasy has a value. if using a number for the value you can use a field type of autonumber. else make sure a value is entered. |
