Hello,
A site that I'm a moderator for is currently useing these forums as well... our forums I guess. I'm impressed so far. BUT just recently I have discovered that as a mod I cannot create a new thread folder. (like news or support etc), only new threads within one called NEWS. The admins of the site are very hard to get into contact with so I'm asking is there a way for me to create a thread folder? like a button I'm missing. Or on the chance that even the admins of the site have no idea what they are doing. Can I have instructions on what they should do?

Thank you, and I apoligiese if this is in the wrong area. I haven't slept in a while Wacko

to add a new forum category (Web wiz guide support forums, community forums).

you need to go to admin area --> forum administration. then select new category. enter the name for the new category.

to add a forum (web wiz RTE forum, Web wiz applications)#
you need to go the above but click add new forum instead of category.

then select what forum category the forum will be placed in. and set the permssions for the forum,

sorry - dj air but hes a Moderator, he was asking if he can do it...

and the answer is - no, moderators cant do that much, just edit/delete/lock/unlock/move topics.

the admins do all the rest so the Admin has to follow the instructions what dj air mentioned

(sorry air, just the guy might be confused as ya didnt mention if he could or not)
