When i will add a new category add new member etc i got this message.

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e09'

Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.

/admin/category_details.asp, line 82

plese help

Please do a search before posting.

This is a very common error and is listed in the install instructions that come with the software and I have also answered this question at least 3 times in the last 4 days.

The problem is your server permissions, you need to have write and modify permissions on the directory containing the database.
