I am creating a webshop in ASP and I would like a security-image on the registration page (like on this forum). My problem is: what do I have to do so that it is secure. Is it enough to use the sessionId, or do you have to encode it or something?

Not too sure where your going there matey but can I assume that you are wanting a security code to prevent spammers or is it for some other purpose ??

Yes, it's against spammers (or bots). I would like to make something like that without dll's, but pure with asp-code. atm I'm making a random number of 6 numbers, putting it in a session, and check if it's correct. But I don't know if that protects against bots etc...
