The browser we are using is IE. I have uploaded the Forum within our Intranet Server. I have about 40 forums that I have created and 40 corresponding Group Names so i can assign proper permissions for which Group can view which Forums. The problem I am encountering is that in the initial login, i am able to view the forums i am allowed to view. Given that i'm an in the group that has the overall permission for everything on that forum, when i try to post, it says i dont' have sufficient permissions. Regardless though, it still eventually posts to the thread that it says i don't have sufficient permissions for. When i lood at the Admin Console, somehow.....my username has jumped to another usergroup that does not have permission for that particular Forum. I go back as the Administrator to set it back to the initial usergroup that had permission and login again, but it does the same thing. It kicks me off of my original User Group and inputs me to another user group. Please help. Thank you so much.

Make sure that you don't have any of the groups set on the ladder system as this will auto change groups depending on post count etc.

40 forums and 40 groups is allot and will put allot of strain on the server.

If you want to keep performance on your forum you should consider cutting this amount otherwise as soon as it gets popular you will start having performance and time-out issues, unless your forum is on a dedicated server and using a low populated MS SQL Sever as it's backend. Even then I would cut the number down.
