Before I go thru setting a forum server up, here is what I want to do..

In a given forum category, I want to allow certain users to post topics. After the post is complete, I'd like any user to be able to reply to that post.

I want to do this with user permissions rather than by moderating the topic, so people don't think their replies are censored in any way.

As an example, I have 4 users and 2 topics>

Topic 1 - User A and User B can create new posts

User A, B , C and D can reply to the post

Topic 2 - User C can post topics

User A, B , C and D can reply to the post

Is this something WebWiz can handle?

Absolutely, you give A and B post permissions and the others just reply permissions.
