Wap is a protocol not a language, you want WML which is basically the equivalent to HTML.

You can add some stuff to asp to make it generate WAP instead of HTML. I read it in a magazine ages ago but I can't remember how to do it. Confused

If you want a site to work on a mobile all you need to do is write it in WML.  You can use ASP/PHP or for that matter any server side languages.

Be careful with WML though, in a few years it's going to be out of date when all mobiles can render normal web pages,
