Hy, I've downoladed the pack that allow to protect a site area with user and password.

Weel,i think that I must create a page of users registration that save user and pwd in the database. Ok!

But when i'll go to test tha protect page doesn't works!

In all page that i want to protect i put this:


If Session("blnIsUserGood") = False or IsNull(Session("blnIsUserGood")) = True then

 'Redirect to unathorised user page

 Response.Redirect"unauthorised_user_page.htm"
End If

at the top of the page!

Once log myself i can always enter in the page! There is a max time till i remain logged? There is a way of logout myself? If I don't logout, other users can enter in the protect page, olny type the name file in the IE bar.

How can i do?

the timeout is ussually set to 20 minutes.

the login page application is really designed for a set range of users (ie entered into the database manulally)...

if you want a members only area i have created a login application that allows multiple groups etc. and veriaty of restrictions etc. for more details click the link below.

While i'm testing tha browers make me an error in licence.asp row 77

adoCon.Execute(strSQL)

with this error: parametri insufficenti, previsto 1

What is the error?

But when i'm logged with administrator and letmein password, the redirect point to login page again. How can i protect my page?

hi i will look into the eror you stated,

this is because its set as the default place for the returns feature. please ask questions within my forums, as this is not my forums,.

if you can gfet into the admin area check code examples page, there is the information on whats required to restrict a page and the methods of restricting ( using certain criteria).
