About Version3 of RTE.
1.Mypage.asp is in MysiteFolder not in RTE Folder.
2. RTE is a subfolder of MysiteFolder
2. The form inside Mypage.asp has -> action="Mypage.asp"
3. i changed the <!--#include file="RTE_editor_inc.asp" --> to:
<!--#include file="RTE/RTE_editor_inc.asp" -->
BUT I do not see the EDITOR. I only see the text area of my form

What paths must i have to change to see the RTE Editor from MyPage.asp that is in MySiteFolder ??
I tried to put file Mypage.asp in the RTE folder and everything is ok, but i do not want this
Regards

I spent the best part of the week trying to make the RTE so that the files could sit in a sub folder from the file you are trying to include the RTE in, but I'm afraid due to loads of problems with paths in images, preview screens, upload paths, etc. that it was not possible.

You will have to place the main RTE files in the same folder as the file you are trying to include the RTE in.

You also need to follow the instructions carefully as you need to place the following in the HTML body tag of the page you are including the RTE in to initialise it:-

onLoad="initialiseWebWizRTE();"

Thank you for your reply. i spent one complete weak trying to change the paths of some #include files and href and src etc etc. The maximum that i obtained was the visualization of the editor within my form but when i click on the icons there was  any response, so i had to withdraw.
 I will do as you suggest but this cannot be the final solution.

snow_bird are you using the editor to update and maintain a website? The way that I use it is to maintain my site the way I worked around the problem with paths is to put my view page inside the RTE file and then on the page I want the "news" to deisplay I add a
<% Server.Execute"/RTE/news.asp" %>  it works pretty well for what i needed it to might try that.

I like your solution masterwebstudio. Makes it easier to do daily backups of the editable content.
